To rescue a child from sexual slavery

Sexual slavery is an area that Elikia IN ACTION is also concerned about when it has been identified that some of our girls who are victims of sexual violence are also victims of sexual exploitation.

We work with more than 177 girls victims of this exploitation in the 3 zones peace club, in Goma, Masisi and Beni.

To make our girls feel freer and comfortable we work for Indicators in the program of:

Art focused Counseling care, peace building and social reintegration where we take the following steps:

  • Identification,
  • Documentation,
  • Temporary reunification in the FAT (host family and transit),
  • Medical care,
  • Psychosocial support. (Psychoeducation, individual and group counselling, art therapy, sport and game therapy, spiritual therapy…)

We accompany our daughters in their COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION with Business, vocational training and education.

Dans le cadre de renforcement des capacités,les staffs Elikia in Action, se réunissent sur certains thèmes,qui renforcent leurs capacités afin de mieux prendre en charge ses bénéficiaires. La gestion de cas n'étant pas une alerte,non plus un monitoring, les participants ont appris la bonne maniere et la bonne technique pour mieux s'occuper du cas. Les enfants orphelins des guerres, survivants des violences sexuelles et exploitation sexuelles méritent un encadrement efficace sans le nuire des nouveaux.
